MightyBaz:

Zsur1aM:
Potencjalne zyski z przejęcia provi zapewne byłyby dużo mniejsze niż straty poniesione w walce o nasze terytorium, wiec raczej nic nam narazie nie grozi.

"Location: Deliverance Reclaimed, 9UY

"Well that was an experience to remember", thought Siobhan as her escape pod slowly came to rest in its docking bay...

As the pod stabilised and clamps engaged Siobhan cracked her 'egg' and slowly clambered out of the gooey mess that had been her home for the past few hours.

"Dammit, I got good service out of that ship!" she exclaimed to no one in particular.

"Amarr Victor eh Siobhan?"

Siobhan turned to see the grinning face of Garreck, one of the CVA's ace combat pilots.

"Don't push your luck Gallente," Siobhan growled, before returning the Gallente's smile.

"So what brings you down here anyway?"

"Well I was just browsing the combat statistics and noticed that we have somehow managed to lose a carrier and nineteen ships within the last hour and I wanted to get the story direct from the horses mouth"

Siobhan grimaced, "You have such a charming directness Garreck and for future reference I would rather not be compared to a mythical creature."

Garreck grinned again, "Stop whinging and get on with the story!"

"Well I had just got back to Karishal's Folly after a short planetary visit when I got word that one of our carriers was being attacked in 9UY by around 30 ships of the Red Alliance."

"Those bastards are a real pain the arse" interjected Garreck.

"Yeah, well we normally give them a bit of a kicking when they show up in Providence and they provide good target practice for our newer pilots - but not this time unfortunately!."

"One of our chaps had been shielding boosting a POS in his Thanatos and it seems the boredom of the job caused him to fall asleep." Siobhan continued.

"Aye its a pretty mind numbing task"

"Anyway this Red Alliance gang seems to have noticed the unwary Thanatos and proceeded to destroy it. The first we heard about it was when another pilot in 9UY noticed the attack was underway."

"Damn, I guess it was too late to save the Thanatos then."

"Yep, we had a lightish gang in the R3 vicinity which had been hunting some Burn Eden pilots who were causing a nuisance in that system. They had just caught one of their interdictors when word came through about the attack in 9UY and they were redirected to Karishal's Folly and reinforcements were called up."

"So what kind of fleet did the Reds have?"

"It was pretty heavy duty really, thirteen battleships supported by a command ship, five Drake battlecruisers and some interdictors and tacklers. Our own forces were scattered so we spent a little time in Karishal's Folly forming up. When we had collected eight battleships and 12 support of our own we decided to persue and seek revenge."

"We set course for 9UY and received reports that the Red Alliance forces were pulling out. Our fleet commander ordered a chase but the Reds bubbled several gates on their retreat slowing our forces down. Nevertheless we continued to persue as we had reports that the enemy were holding in UL or ERVK gate."

"We had by now passed several cloaked Red Alliance spies and guessed that they had reported our fleet composition. We assumed, incorrectly in hindsight, that the Red Alliance commander had decided to make a fight of it particularly as they had a five battleship advantage."

"Ok so what happened next?"

"Well we jumped into UL and our scouts reported that the Red fleet was still sitting on the ERVK gate in a dictor bubble. Our commander smelling blood order an align and warp on the gate and we prepared to engage."

"As we warped to the gate I turned on all my active modules and got ready to unleash hell on these enemies of Amarr. We dropped out of warp 10 kilometres from the gate and primaries started to be called. We then noticed that the gate had started to activate. It seemed that the Reds were jumping out. In frustration our fleet commander ordered everyone to close on the gate and ordered a CVA dictor to bubble the enemy on the far side."

"So far so good it seems," mused Garreck.

"Yes but that is when it all started to go wrong. An enemy dictor jumped back trough the gate and dropped another interdiction bubble on us and then generated a cyno field? I was expecting a fleet of enemy carriers or motherships to drop on our heads but what came through was much much worse - a Titan class Erebus."

"Damn those sneaky Red Alliance bastards!"

"Yes. Immediately the sky began to darken as the Titan sucked up all the energy in the vicinity for its Doomsday weapon. Within 15 seconds half of the CVA fleet had been destroyed in the horrific blast. My own plated Abaddon still had 50% of its armour intact and and a handful of other CVA battleships had survived the calamity - however we were now without support and 20 enemy ships awaited on the other side of the gate."

"The order was given to warp out but many were still stuck in the bubble and too far from escape. In total we lost 15 ships including four of our eight battleships and my own Abaddon. I am organising a prayer service later for all the valiant crews that fell in battle against our enemies."

Garreck, groaned, "Sounds like a nice trap they laid."

"It was an expensive lesson but one we have learnt now. Those Red Alliance bastards will not catch us with that one again and we will continue to slaughter their regular fleets when they visit Providence in their efforts to undermine the Amarrian paradise we are building here."

Garreck nodded, "Aye, the struggle for the Empire is unending but all our enemies will eventually burn - because we fight for what is right, we fight for a cause and they merely fight to fight. The unbelievers and the heretics will all eventually learn or persish."

"By the grace of Amarr they will Garreck"

"Now where did I leave my spare Abaddon? I have some revenge to seek!"

"Amarr Victor eh Siobhan?"

Siobhan smiled...

"Always Amarr Victor Garreck!""

Z opisu wynika że RA całkiem ładnie tą akcje zaplanowało i przeprowadziło.

Jak na lamerów, to świetnie sobie poradzili.
