--- Cytat: The EVE Community team ---The New Eden Open is a cash tournament with a total prize pool of $10,000, sponsored by own3D.tv. In the New Eden Open we enable all players to participate, not just members of alliances. Would-be participants will have to form a team with other players and sign up as a team. The tournament format is a modified double-elimination setup and the tournament will take place over the course of three weekends, from Saturday November 17 to Sunday December 2. The tournament will culminate in a best-of-5 match final to determine the winner.
The signup for the New Eden Open was opened on Monday October 15 and will stay open until Friday October 26 at 23:59 UTC. Make sure to sign up if you want to participate!
Once the sign-up process is complete the submitted teams can participate in an online PLEX auction in the ‘Live Dev Blogs’ channel on Saturday, October 27 at 19:00 UTC.
As this will be our first cash tournament, we are excited to present this opportunity to our players and hope that you as the operator of one of our valued Fan Sites, can distribute this information and help us build excitement.

2) Do podziału między członków teamu. W przypadku 12 ludzi - 500$ na łeb. Podzielcie to przez liczbę godzin jaką trzeba poświęcić na ten projekt i wyjdzie pewnie 5 dołków na godzinę. I to pod warunkiem, że się wygra. Gruba kasa? No proszę Was...

CCP tłumaczy to chęcią budowy sceny e-sportowej. 10k to jest żart w e-sporcie.

A jeśli porównamy to do ostatniego AT, to 500$ daje jakieś 33 plexy, czyli - z grubsza 17B na łeb (razem jakieś 204B na team). Parę dni temu sprzedaliśmy JEDNĄ Etanę za 80B.
