In eve, shit happens. Sometimes it isnt 'Alliance A vs Alliance B'. You have alliances working together attempting to achieve a certain 'game plan' if you will. When we arrived in the target system the 'PLAN' was to get the loki/ahacs to commit to a fight. The INIT. nagas would handle the No Value 40 man naga fleet and ~ 5 minutes into the fight, TEST would show up with 250 Rokhs to clear the field.
TEST had formed before we undocked from hix. Whenever we began the fight in 0T-, it was made clear that they needed a mid point and that it was being taken care of and that they would be a little late. We droped the triage carrier then to ensure they would have all the time they needed. Obvious to say, they didnt show up. There are reasons that im not going to get into other than 'shit happens'.
After the triage carrier died due to being capped out by neuting legions (it was on the field for 12 minutes keeping all the geddons alive), we then burned into the pos shields. Soon after we warped to the station to dock up. At this point, TEST is finally ready to fight. My damnation had the final cyno. I dropped our fleet, and joined their coms and their fleet and a skirmish FC took over what was left of the geddons.
The goal was to get them to agress on the undock. And i did just that. I opened cyno and then TEST bridged through to finish what we started, while we undocked in mass and began agressing.... What i heard next was the TEST Titan pilot saying 'Fuuuuck' as he had bridged the TEST rokhs BACKWARDS to the previous midpoint cyno. We deagressed, lost a few more ships, and docked up once more. Of course, my damnation died in a fire
We should not have been on the field as long as we were. And no way in hell would i drop a single triage carrier without backup.
So lets move on to how we can get better. Cause there were some minor fuck ups made in our fleet also. Broadcasting. Whenever you are yellow boxed by EVERYONE, then you broadcast one time. When you are red boxed by NEARLY EVERYONE, then you broadcast one more time. THAT IS IT. Our logis were being spam'd by geddons that had not even taken armor damage. I would assume that is because you were yellow boxed. But you DO NOT broadcast just because one guy yellow box's you.
The BIG PICTURE is that you are trying to give the logis a early heads up that you are a secondary/primary. Those lokis do SHIT dps. Shit. shit. shit. shit. dps. You will not die, do not panic. Broadcast when they all lock you up. Broadcast one more time when they are red boxed.
Lastly, WE NEED MOAR GEDDONS IN FLEETS. In a fleet of 110, we had 15 logis and 35 geddons. The other 60 was support (mallers, frigs, ect). If you can be in a logi or a Geddon, that is what you need to be in. Let the new bros handle mallers and the such. It takes 35 Geddons to crack a loki. If we have 60 Geddons in fleet, then we can lose 20, and still be poping lokis. Rather than lose 2 geddons, and then ALMOST kill every loki broadcasted.
Something good to note, the logi anchor did a good job. And you guys followed primaries beautifully. Do not let this get you down. The fact we are doing shit like this in the first place reflects well on us. We will have easy fights in the future. And what makes fights easy is when you can do hard fights and pull out with a victory. Niestety jestem poza EVE, ale patrząc na KB Raiden., to w kolejnej (tym razem sobotniej) rundzie w T-8 sprzymierzeńcy C0venu mieli bardzo udany bombing run 8)
