CCP FAIL?

--- Cytat: snsmasta ---I'll attempt at a BR but since lot of stuff went down the other side is open to post their own:
So anyway with that out of the way here we go:
So a corp from SOT was getting kicked(we think) and to piss SOT off for it they probably dropped sov and Y-2 was up for grabs. I think once this fact was known both sides scrambled for it. Since it was our time zone it was easy for us to assemble a big force as opposed to GOONS/PL/SOT....Upon arrival there a TCU was already being online'd by Goonswarm at about 15000ish we killed the first TCU's from goonswarm and had ours onlining...then for the majority of the day we kept assembling our forces in the system for the upcoming fight. Later on during the day we heard news of a NC regroup to come down and give aid to PL/SOT/GOONS so it gave us the expectation that there was going to be a pretty huge fight going on...We had majority in the system for the most of the day towards 2300ish there was an attempt by goons to set up a ninja pos for staging but we managed to nick it in time. Nothing major was going on for majority of the day, I think at our prime we had assembled a fleet of about 500-600 people. Had a load of BS, 200+ caps +17ish titans.
At about 0120ish we got the heads up that the enemy was about to bridge in and we all set up on the TCU with caps/BS/support....Local quickly started rising up from 600 to 1000...At this point in time we had a pretty big bomber wing who deployed up on the enemy cyno along with multiple recons for scouting....
PIC of enemy caps that first got there http://chris-kelly.net/eve/2010.01.03.01.39.57.jpg
After a little while passes by our bombers start working on the enemies that are bridging in...First they start bombing the enemy support pretty successfully from what I hear, they worked in combination with the -A- bombers who were hunting capitals in safe spots and all over the place since some got disconnected and what not, I think they managed to kill between 5-9 with their bombers....
So more time passes by, maybe its about 02:30-03:00 at this time when for some reason a small group maybe 15-20 enemy support warp to our grid on the TCU and it was basically turkey shooting since welp 500ish of us were there...There were probably 4-7 different waves of enemies coming at us, all at 5-10 people range after that inital 15-20 support warp in on us...We were kind of confused what was going on, since they were coming in like 5-10min intervals..So anyway after about 1-2hrs of waiting the enemies, they never engaged us with their whole fleet...Our scouts reported them aligning multiple times towards our tcu and then aligning to some random object over and over...We didn't wish to move to their grid, and they didn't wish to move to our grid because we all knew what was going to happen, somebody was gonna get fucked and neither side wanted to be fucked ... During this whole time our bomber pilots were doing runs on them very successfully...so at about 0300ish after some very successful bomber running local dropped down to 1150 from 1350 while our numbers held steadily..
Towards 0400ish after about 2hr + stand off the enemies decided to disengage and started jumping out/logging off...local dropped down to 980 fairly quickly and with caps logging off call was made for our dictors to start bubbling since we were already set up for the trap...Our whole cap fleet along with the Titans warped to the enemy grid and started engaging...Our BS fleet remained at the TCU for the inital start of the fight...We quickly got report that the first enemy titan was close to insta pop'd...I guess having 17ish titans on you and 120-150 dreads makes anything melt fast...As soon as we heard the first titan was down, we heard report that a second titan pilot was going down everyone got fairly excited since this is the first time ever that more then one Titan has died in a single battle....Call was made for our BS fleet to come in and join the capitals and while the BS fleet was in warp a third titan was dropped....When the BS fleet was about to land grid a fourth titan was down...Took the BS fleet less then 1 minute to load grid as we were loading and what not we did hear that a 5th titan was tackled and dropped I know for fact 4 were dead and not sure on the 5th titan yet...
Our BS quickly engaged the hostile BS, there were a load of enemy BS and our BS fleet was eager to get on the titan mails but we first had to deal with the BS....We were downing the enemy BS fleet much quicker then they were downing our fleet because they already logged/jumped out big part of their support/BS fleet..Took us a little bit of time to destroy their BS fleet because people had multiple guns stuck and had to keep warpin off grid and back in for the guns to get unstuck, there was not much lag except guns being stuck a lot, which is my biggest complaint...After we finished off the last of their BS we started concentrating on the enemy capitals... At most I think our BS fleet killed about 6-10 capitals and not more, since there were 16+ titans on field and over 120-150 of our dreads it didn't take long for us to destroy what they had left capital wise on the field....
KB Report from IT perspective: http://www.it-kills.us/?a=kill_related&kll_id=121291
As for the enemy saying they were not loading grid and what not I don't know what to say on there...Our bombers were engaging/dying to their fleet and our cloaked scouts were reporting them multiple times to us that they were aligning towards our TCU and then just aligning towards a random spot....not to mention the "fofofofo" tradition goons have for local spam.
As to why they were logging their capitals off when they had aggression by the bombers and our dictors having them bubbled am not sure... But that was their call.

i komentarz FC z NC:
--- Cytat: Phreeze ---1/100th of us maybe loaded grid. Those would be the few dudes who tried to shoot off the tacklers and bombers.
The NC fleet got squadwarped squad by squad by a spy to the hostile pos over the course of an hour and didn't know it was happening until a goon who had already been in local reported us dying there. We never saw the light of day.
I tried to tell the people running these fleets how to properly get in system in heavy lag (as we did successfully with 500+ people into a heavily lagged system in geminate recently) and I thought that was the method that we were going to be using.
For the 2 minutes or so my command ship had the grid (it became unresponsive shortly therafter) I was able to see that all of our cynos had gone off within 10km of each other, not in seperate grids and time staggered to reduce lag on the system, and that a cap and titan fleet had cynoed in as well.
Once you take out the fact that this fight would have worked pre-domi, this fleet died because people did not listen to those of us who do know how lag works post-domi. They learned the lesson the hard way.
Theres also not a chance in hell these titan's get reimbursed IMO, so those expressing their outrage can stop bandying about that rallying cry.
All in all, it was a pretty disapointing evening when compared to the epic fight it could have been (a dozen or more titans on each side, even capital numbers, huge ass support fleet, bombers on both sides....
